About

Hi, my name's N and I come from Europe. I study Comparative literature and Literary theory at Faculty of Arts (Master's Degree program) and I also study architecture at Faculty of Architecture (third year). When I'm not busy with work for University I love to take photos, cook and enjoy in little things that everyday life brings. My 'diet' consists of design, architecture, literature, movies, fashion and experimental DIYs. This visual diary is a mélange of things I find inspiring and aesthetically pleasing, other than that, this tumblr's existence has no higher purpose... Thank you for stopping by! :)

Story of Fortuna, spanish greyhound:
In Spain as well as in UK, people stil exploit greyhounds in racing industry. Pictured above is my adopted dog Fortuna, who was, among many other dogs, abandoned after the racing season ended. Every year, when the racing season ends, up to 50,000 dogs are left to die on the streets of Spain or are hanged on the trees in rural parts of the country. If they have luck, they are euthanised in perreras. Fortuna was saved from a perrera in Sevilla.
There are few organisations that rescue dogs from the horror and find them new homes across the Europe.
Help if you can by adopting a dog or just spread the word. Here is also link where you can read more: http://www.scoobymedina.org/en/about_us/hanging_horror.html
My lovely Fortuna is a great companion- lovable, gentle but still very afraid and traumatised. Slowly, with lots of love and patience she is regaining trust in people.
